Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Feature development and maintenance of same in entire android stack.
• Performance and stability of entire Android stack for Android infotainment.
• Customization of AOSP.
• Software development in application framework and native Android layer for automotive infotainment.

Essential Skills and Capabilities

• Strong development experience using C++ or Java.
• Experience with AOSP and Android stack.
• Working experience with Android Automotive OS or Infotainment.
• Experience with porting and configuring Android platforms and systems for automotive and infotainment systems.
• Experience with Android platform concepts like HAL development, system services, Android boot, fastboot etc.
• Experience in Android Service layer and App level.

Desired Skills and Capabilities

• Working experience with Google Services for Android (GAS).
• Experience with software performance measurement tools such as Android Profiler.
• Experience in fault tracing on an app and system level.
• Experience in Automotive communication buses CAN, Flexray, SomeIP, etc.
• Development of HAL, system services, Kernel modules, custom Android platform and builds, android device development.
